Victorian Fan

Thought I would share this. I got it at my local thrift store. It came in one piece. I am taking it apart and then scanning it so that it will be a sheet. And if you do want it send me an email and I will send it to you. Just continue to scroll down to see how to attach it. You will need to either print this on computer paper and then glue onto card stock. As the back is white anyway. I like the way it is glossy. So I put glossy modge podge on top of mine and let dry before I assembled it.

Pay close attention as to where to put the ribbon and tape. You will need a length of ribbon that measures 12 1/2 inches. On the back of the fan you will notice that the ribbon is held on by them circles they use to write a price on for say a yard sell. You can purchase these at your local thrift store. Or Wal-Mart. You can use scotch tape too. Just something that will keep the ribbon in place. And do this to the rest of the hearts.  You will want to lay the fan piece so they overlap the one before. And this is what it looks like compact. I think this makes a great additions to any shabby chic or Victorian style mini. Or as an embellishment for your room or other projects. Please check back in a few days for the scanned sheet.

I am going to just add the sheets to print I hope you can get them from here. If not just email me at virginiaabshire@yahoo.com and I can send them to you that way. Also you will need a long two piece brad. When you go to close the brad make sure you don't  close it tight. As that will stop th fan from closing and opening. And you will need a small piece of cording to hand from th bottom.

Hope you enjoy this.
Hugs Virginia
